FINAL!
I decided to do my final project using the theme of the seven deadly sins...
In order to carry this out, I first collected stories from various people about times in their lives when they were faced with the different sins..
..after obtaining their tales, I illustrated them.
Above, is my complete, final project.
Enjoy!

For my final project I will collect stories from seven people about times when they have encountered the seven sins in their daily lives. After obtaining these stories, I will illustrate them, creating a collection of pieces with the common thread of the modernized seven sins. In order to create a stronger bond between the audience and the work, I will combine both medias, (the illustrations and the recordings), to give the viewer a greater understanding of the piece.
11/19: Find and record people telling stories about each of the seven sins.
11/26: Draw each story out. In order to complete this task on time, draw one picture a day.
12/3: Combine the pictures with the recorded stories in a quicktime movie.

~Sick Day: The Three Narratives~

1) The first comic, SICK, is of what really happened when I was sick
2) The second comic, Flashback, is a flashback from when I felt better
3) The last comic, DISTORTION, is of how I was seeing everything when I was sick...
The running line throughout the page is "Hey, are you OK? You don't look so great."

What I Learned
After completing this project, (one week of tracking my emotions by writing them down everytime I look at a clock), I realized a few things about myself that I wouldn’t normally assume. Though I’m a happy person, I noticed that when I check the time I’m usually waiting for something to happen, so I’m anxious or in some other mood that generally isn’t described as ‘good.’ In the mornings I check the time a lot because I'll be waking up and my alarm will go off. Though I thought I checked the time more when I was on the bus to classes, that was actually the place where I looked at my clock the least. Unfortunately, if someone who didn't know me looked at my data, I don' t think they'd see me as a very enjoyable person to be around. Somehow I'm almost always recorded as being either tired or showing some level of discomfort.
The Passing of Time
Over a week I tracked my emotions by writing down one word to express my feelings every time I checked the clock.
